In tonight’s “Nikita,” Birkhoff finally gets to come out and play this week.  Sounds like he has to, since Percy takes all his money, but the idea of him having to come out from behind the computer is still intriguing.

“Team Nikita goes on the offensive and tries to bankrupt Percy, tries to gets the finances he has left now that he’s not being financed by the government anymore,” says executive producer Craig Silverstein in his Producer’s Preview for the week.  “In trying steal all of Percy’s money, they end up losing of their money, which of course all of Birkhoff’s money.  This creates a rift between Nikita and Birkhoff, and he thinks maybe ‘I don’t need this anymore.’”

As usual with “Nikita” there’s always a complication to their predicaments.  Silverstein ends his preview with this teaser, “The question is are they going to be able to pull together in the light of Percy’s putting his big big master plan to go nuclear into effect?”

Here’s the official synopsis per The CW:

Nikita (Maggie Q) convinces a reluctant Birkhoff (Aaron Stanford) to use 20 million dollars of his own money in a plan to bankrupt Percy (Xander Berkeley) and Division, but when Percy ends up stealing Birkhoff’s entire life savings, Birkhoff and Nikita clash. Team Nikita has one last chance to hit Percy again, but Birkhoff is arrested trying to regain his millions and Nikita realizes she must break him out of jail before Division gets to him. Michael (Shane West) and Alex (Lyndsy Fonseca) go after Birkhoff’s stolen money while Nikita goes to save Birkhoff. Nick Copus directed the episode which was written by Kristen Reidel.
