As Grant Gustin told us in our interview at Comic Con, his character would be getting an new mentor and that guy was tied to the Flash helmet falling out of the worm hole in the season one finale. Yes, Jay Garrick (the first Flash) would be part of The Flash season two, helping Barry Allen. Turns out he’s come to Central City to warn the gang at S.T.A.R. labs that danger is coming.
To tease us with more after today’s CW TCA press session, the CW has released one really awesome promo photo to promote Teddy Sears as Jay Garrick and Grant Gustin as Barry Allen. It’s a shout out to the comic cover, “The Flash of Two Worlds.” It’s rather inspired!
