The 100, The Originals, and Revolution may not show up on the Emmy’s radar for the big categories, but they did something impressive this year in other areas! In this morning’s announcement of the 2014 Emmy award nominations, each of these shows earned the following nods:
– The 100 was nominated for Outstanding Special and Visual Effects. Anyone who’s see the show this year knows they really did earn this honor. Credit goes to Zoic Studios, who handles the visual effects for the show.
– The Originals was nominated for Outstanding Hairstyling for a Single-Cam Series/Special. Again, the commitee so got that right!
– Revolution was nominated for the second year in a row for Outstanding Stunt Coordination. The stunt coordinator, Jeff Wolfe, was nominated and WON last year.
Congratulations to The 100, The Originals, and Revolution for these achievements! We’ll be rooting for you when awards presentation time comes!
I don’t watch the other two but yes to the 100 the visual and special affects were outstanding. My new most favorite show in a very long time.:)
