Here’s a little bit of sad news, and unexpected too.  Being Human, which has aired for the last four seasons on SyFy, is ending it’s run on April 7th.  There were six episodes left to be aired in season four, and those will now be the last.

The network put out this statement:  “Showrunner Anna Fricke and the talented producers, writers, cast and crew have done an amazing job bringing this show to life over the past four seasons and we sincerely thank them and the series’ production company Muse Entertainment for their hard work. They’ve saved the best for last with the final six episodes that revisit the story’s beginning, leading to a not-to-be-missed send-off for Aidan, Sally, Josh and Nora.”

Syfy even put out on YouTube a video of the cast saying what they’ll miss most about the show.  Credit to all of them for not saying “a paycheck.”  🙂  No, they seem to be taking it all in stride, and they are grateful for the time together and the fan support.

Being Human on SyFy premiered on January 17, 2011.  It was a remake of the British series of the same name and created for SyFy fby husband and wife duo Jeremy Carver and Anna Fricke.  Those of us very familiar with Supernatural remember how Carver left the show at the end of season five to work on Being Human, and then came back before that show’s third season started to run Supernatural after the departure of showrunner Sera Gamble.  Anna Fricke remained as showrunner and will now get to see it out until the end.

Congrats on a successful run Being Human.  You will be missed.
