We're a little over a month away from the season two premiere of Arrow (1 month and 3 days to be precise) but The CW is enticing us with a new trailer anyway. Because they love torturing us.
Seems that Oliver has failed the city. "We may have lost the battle, but we will win the war." Sounds awesome! Here's the whole extended trailer.
TV Line has confirmed what has been stewing ever since Jim Beaver met with Eric Kripke in season one about a possible role in Revolution. He's secured a guest role in season two!
Jim will be playing a Texas Ranger, which will be kind of nice since the show setting is moving to Texas (as well as the shooting location). The episode will air in October, and is called "One Riot, One Ranger."
The best part though, it'll be the very first episode penned by new Consulting Producer Ben Edlund! Considering both Jim Beaver and Ben Edlund had a very long tenure (and history together) on Supernatural, this is a very exciting reunion.
Welcome to Revolution Jim Beaver! Let's hope this trend continues of actors whose characters are dead on Supernatural get to appear on Revolution and...their new characters probably die too. There's plenty in the dead pool that could stock this show for years.
Perhaps I’m being harsh. After all, NBC isn’t the fourth place network anymore. Their efforts actually earned them third this year and number two is actually within reach. Number one isn’t freaking close at all, but there are three other networks that have that issue as well.
I thought I would share some of Bob’s gems from yesterday’s NBC TCA panel, along with some pieces of commentary, just to help everyone read between the lines. This year, Bob also had some help from NBC Entertainment President Jennifer Salke which makes it more fun. After all, we all need some entertainment for a Monday.
Once again this year, Zachary Levi's Nerd HQ is holding celebrity panels outside San Diego Comic Con, "Conversations For A Cause," to benefit Operation Smile. This year, they have a new venue, Petco Park!
Below is the press release with all the info. Tickets will be available for sale at 12 pm PDT (3 pm EDT).
I just love getting this announcement every year. TV Guide and Warner Brothers are again teaming up for special edition Comic Con TV Guide issues profiling Warner Brothers TV shows. This year, the covers will feature The Vampire Diaries, The Originals, Arrow, Supernatural, Batman, and Superman. Not to mention, the special edition covers previews of new seasons of other returning Warner Brothers shows, including TVFTROU featured Person of Interest, Revolution, and Nikita.
